Buying and selling online in Nigeria should be easy, safe, and fair for everyone. But for too long, people have been losing money to scams and fake sellers.

Our founder, Anuoluwapo Olabode Oludare, experienced this pain firsthand after being scammed multiple times while trying to buy and sell items online. Each loss was not just about the money but also the disappointment of being tricked by someone who never intended to play fair. He knew he was not the only one going through that, so he decided to do something about it.

Olabode created DecluttaKing to make online trading safer for both buyers and sellers. The platform was designed to protect users while keeping the experience smooth and stress free. Here, every user is both a buyer and a seller, which means we all understand each other’s needs.

DecluttaKing is not your regular e-commerce marketplace. It is a peer to peer platform built for everyday people who want to sell their items securely and freely without fear of scams. It is also for those looking for affordable, good quality items without breaking the bank for brand new ones. And if you have bought new items elsewhere but now want to upgrade or sell to get some cash back, DecluttaKing makes that simple and safe.

As a buyer, you can pay instantly or use Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) for purchases worth ₦25,000 or more, covering transactions up to ₦1,000,000. You can also negotiate prices, ask questions about items directly from sellers, and even cancel your order within 24 hours if something feels wrong, such as when a seller seems unserious or suspicious.

As a seller, you can list your items freely, respond to buyers’ questions and negotiation offers before a sale, and get paid fast once buyers confirm pickup or delivery. Full access between buyer and seller is only granted after payment, ensuring transactions remain secure and transparent. Payments are protected through our secure escrow system, ensuring both sides stay safe throughout every transaction.

And because trust grows with great support, our customer support team is always available through the in-app Help Center to handle complaints and inquiries quickly.

DecluttaKing is more than a marketplace. It is a safe community built on trust, fairness, and simplicity where Nigerians can buy, sell, and grow confidently without fear of being scammed.

We are changing the story of online peer to peer shopping in Nigeria one honest deal at a time.
